About

I moved to the South West of France in 1993 with my husband, three daughters and elderly cat and we currently live half an hour from Bordeaux in what we firmly believe in one of the prettiest parts of the country.  As anyone who comes to the house can tell I have no difficulty in finding things to do that are more important than the housework, usually reading, walking our two Dalmatians or wasting time on the internet.

I had one novel published by Robert Hale under a pseudonym which, much to my surprise, was translated into Russian.  I had another three novels published under my own name by Headline which were translated into German and Thai and I’m currently updating them so I can publish them as e-books.  After a long hiatus I’m also in the middle of writing another novel as well.

    Dear Victoria
Thank you for your comment on my wee, in comparison to your own, blog. I have now discovered you and actually frightened my dog laughing out loud at ” I asked my daughter what is french for sod’s law”….

1993 was definately a year… the same year I also arrived in France.
Would love to meet up and exchange our mad lives. My email address is on my blog page so contact me if you feel like it.

    Kindest regards,
Wonderful wonderful blog, so pleased to have discovered you.

  2. I can only say thank you for your lovely words which have enriched my day.
It’s great to read about others enjoying a great lifestyle away from the mother country. What a great award. Fabulous not only for its encouragement but also for bringing other blogs to light. I have already dipped into your “winners list” and am looking forward to reading more. A big thank you – I have loved keeping up with your blog for some time now!
